Who is Varsia 
Varsia was born Varsia Mary Newman on September 7,1996 in Atlanta Georgia. Varsia was born with Cerebral palsy. Growing up she had many challenges with her self esteem. Even through that she persevered and found a love in music that helped her get through the rough times. Varsia grew up with a Christian upbringing and  her love for music started in church. Varsia has been performing since the age of four. When she was 10 years old she sung a tribute to the Grammy nominee Fantasia Barrino. Fantasia told her she can sing and to never give up on her dreams. Her musical inspirations are Whitney Houston Janet Jackson and many others. She was apart of the group called YEA in Atlanta. She was also in a group called the superstar kids. She also made it to top ten in the McDonald’s the Gift competition out of 150 contestants.She has now released her first ep Sorry not Sorry 2.0 which gained 10,000 streams. Her ep is about overcoming heartbreak but also not apologizing for anything that she says in her music, because it came for her heart. She is now a proud member of Showability inclusive chorus. Varsia feels like she finally living her dream and can’t wait to see what happens next.
