Auditioning for WWTMI™ — how do auditions work?
Our “Who Wants To Make It” auditions are held in select cities and during major event weekends. Artists register in advance, submit a track, and receive a performance slot or virtual review depending on the event. Details for each show (set length, location, call time) are emailed after registration.
First time with WWTMI™ — how is a showcase or performance slot structured?
Most shows include a soundcheck or check-in window, followed by a live performance in front of an audience, influencers, DJs, or industry contributors. Sets are timed, and some events include live feedback or post-show reviews that may be used on social media or future promo.
What happens once my name is on the ticket list and profile is created?
Once your ticket profile is created, your supporters can purchase tickets under your name. Those sales help determine your performance ranking, eligibility for prizes, and priority for future opportunities. We’ll email you updates and promotional tools you can use to invite your audience.
Do I only get “credit” for selling tickets?
Tickets are one part of the process, but not the only measure. We also look at performance quality, crowd response, professionalism, and how you promote yourself. Some events include prizes or future bookings that are based on overall impact, not just sales.
I don’t want to sell tickets. Are there other ways to work together?
Yes. We offer radio promotion, social media campaigns, playlist opportunities, livestream performances, and brand collaborations that do not require ticket sales. You can reach out to support@2hotradio.com to learn which promo options make the most sense for you.
Are your shows on the same stage as the major concert or festival?
Our events are usually produced on partner or nearby stages during major weekends (BET Awards, Super Bowl, All-Star, etc.). We focus on curated independent stages that still give you real crowds, media coverage, and networking with people who are active in the business.
Who can attend your shows? Are they all-ages?
Most shows are 18+ or 21+ depending on the venue. When a show is all-ages, it will be clearly noted on the event page and in your confirmation email. Always check the event details for age and ID requirements.
How do tickets work for performers and buyers?
Each performer is assigned a custom ticket link or name on the checkout page. Supporters choose your name when purchasing. You receive credit for those sales toward any ticket goals or contests attached to that show.
How do I submit my show track, and what about late fees?
After you register, we send a link to upload your show track or performance music by a specific deadline. Late submissions may incur a fee or may not be accepted if production timelines are locked. Always watch your email and submit as early as possible.
What is the refund policy if I don’t reach my ticket minimum or plans change?
Because our events require venue deposits, staffing, and marketing costs, most performance fees are non-refundable. In some situations, we may offer credits toward future events if you communicate with us before deadlines. Refund rules may vary per show, so always read the specific terms on your registration page.
