P. Grant and Pic Chambuz, two New Jersey natives who are also cousins have embarked on separate musical journeys throughout the years. They each have always had a passion for music and decided to come together to create a vibrant collaboration that’s become a force to be reckoned with.
After relocating to Greensboro, NC early in his childhood, Pic Chambuz eventually launched Silent Records Incorporated. Back in New Jersey P. Grant was also starting 78 West Entertainment, named after the major interstate that connects New Jersey to Pennsylvania. In spite of the distance between them as well as their separate journeys their chemistry was undeniable and led to numerous collaborations, merging 78West with Silent Inc to form Silent West.
Throughout their impressive 20-year career, they've had the privilege of working with several renowned artists, showcasing their dedication to the craft.
Driven by a profound love for music Pic and P. Grant use their artistry to narrate the stories of their lives. With distinct sounds and a shared confidence, they craft powerful tracks that aim to revive the essence of real hip hop music.
