Bio:

I was born in Detroit Michigan in 1953, and have been involved in music since I was six years old. It was David Ruffin of the Temptations who caught my eye as a lead singer of The Temptations that inspired me to become a singer. My brother-in law, Gene Lyons played with Dennis Edwards as his bass player in a group called, Dennis Edwards and The Fire Birds at Mauls Bar, down the street from where I lived and I would stand outside the club and listen to them play. It was when Dennis joined The Temptations, in 1968 that I knew I wanted to be like Dennis Edwards and become a great singer like him. At that moment,  I also knew I wanted to be in show business, even until this day.
