Courtney "Lil Timme" Buchanan, born in April 1979 in Nashville, Tennessee, began his musical journey at age eight, inspired by his mother. He performed solo by age ten and played regularly at church by thirteen. He attended Hillsboro High School for Performing Arts and later joined The Sophisticats, touring internationally. Collaborating with DJ Lil Hess, he produced the album "Hanging with the Hustlers," selling over 20,000 copies. His debut solo album, "Timme's Touch What's Next," was released 25 years ago, and he has written over 75 songs, becoming a prominent figure in Tennesee Southern rap scene.

 

Beyond performing, Lil Timme held behind-the-scenes roles, including Production Manager at World Entertainment, and collaborated with various artists. He has headlined notable events and performed in various cities. In 2024, he headlined the Loud on the 7th Music Festival and co-owns DacypherCLT.
