This voting process is separate from the compilation album, which is selected by talent only. This is a chance for the top scoring artist to receive the "Red Carpet Experience" during 2Hot / BET Weekend 2026. Fans can vote today at the event, and online voting will begin no later than Wednesday. Each vote costs $2, and every vote adds 10 points to the artist’s total score. The artist with the highest score at the end of the voting period wins.

What happens next
Scores will be tallied and shared with artists and their fans by Wednesday, March 18 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. After that, there will be an additional voting period to help determine the top artist.
