Raw Player Rod is the lost Rap God, with a truly unbelievable story, of brilliance and resilience, in the face of impossible odds, that warrants movies and documentaries, born in LA, California, Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Raw Player Rod, was a handsome charismatic boy genius, who founded the Pretty Boy Gangsters in 1985. And Pretty Boy Records in 1990. Signed a distribution deal with Macola, and was shelved while possibly influencing the greatest of the greats! Raw Player Rod’s sons were taken by the Alaskan state after the state transcribed and read his non violent rap lyrics in court in 1992. His mom was a civil rights and community activist and leader and business owner. Raw Player Rod is a real life living legend in Anchorage Alaska's Rap lore. Ask well known Alaskan Artists like joker the Bailsbondsmen or Baydilla from Out Da Cut Records. This Charismatic artist who was born on Nelson Mandela’s Birthday was wrongly convicted while having 100% proof he was framed by crooked prosecutors. He filed his own motions and complaints and turned to God. 3 years later his prosecutors were on front page of newspapers across America for the exact same corruption Raw Player Rod alleged, but in the US Senator Ted Stevens Scandal. Raw Player Rods case is still being covered up. While in prison Hop Hop saved Raw Player Rod in the form of a copyright lawsuit. If there was one person most responsible for federal drug laws changing it may be Player Rod, who wrote thousands of letters to Congress, judges, celebrities, and anyone who would listen, including the some of the most powerful people in the world.
