Bio: 

UH-OH (born Carlos Zamudio Jr, October 6, 1981) grew up in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on Chicago's Northwest Side. The Puerto Rican and Mexican rapper/producer became involved in hip-hop during the early 90’s, performing for friends, at school talent shows and writing a handful of raps along the way. One of his major inspirations, Justina Gonzalez a 15 year old single mother helped shape young UH-OH, paying for his first studio session in the early 90’s. With guidance from local producers, UH-OH went on to learn the finer points of studio production, programming, and sampling, becoming a hallmark of his early work. UH-OH’s background and personal hardships have had a major influence on his sound. One of the preeminent rappers from Chicago, UH-OH tempers his raw lyricism with a soulful and street appeal, an approach that has proven to be influential in his hometown. UH-OH set himself apart in the early 2000’s with numerous mixtapes, collaborations and performances. Throughout the years UH-OH has tampered with all facets of the music industry from radio personality, promotions, audio engineer, videography and photography. Although UH-OH has tried his hands in different industries. He has always stayed true to being an influential artist and has always continued creating new music despite his other ventures.
