Bio:

Mona Soul, born Jasmine Mona’ Rorie in Northern Virginia, is a singer, songwriter, and rapper known for her fresh take on R&B/Soul/Hip Hop while staying true to its roots. She started music early, joining the youth choir at 5, playing instruments by 9, and writing and producing at 10. Since releasing her first project in 2015, she has dropped one EP and eight singles, plus written over 30 songs for other artists.

In 2021, Mona earned three album placements at Mickey Shiloh's “Girl Talk Writing Camp,” including the track "Stallions," which hit number 23 on Spotify’s "Fresh Finds: Hip Hop." She’s also written for major artists like Iyla, Rihanna, and Cardi B. A finalist in Derek Ali's "Twitch" Indie Artist competition, she continues to expand her reach, including performing on the Philippine series "Kumu." In 2024, she was a finalist for "Best R&B/Soul Artist" at the Wammie Music Awards.
