Role Overview:

The Government Contracts Manager will be the cornerstone of our government contracting endeavors, responsible for the end-to-end management of the procurement process. This role combines strategic planning, research, talent scouting, cost analysis, proposal writing and review, relationship building, and project management.


  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively search and identify federal contract opportunities on that align with our capabilities.
  • Talent and Vendor Coordination: Source and negotiate with subcontractors or employees to meet the project's requirements.
  • Strategic Pricing: Develop competitive pricing strategies and budget proposals based on thorough financial analysis and subcontractor quotes.
  • Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of compelling proposals that meet all solicitation requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers and stakeholders, ensuring our proposals stand out.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the successful execution and management of awarded contracts, meeting all milestones and deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Versatile Experience: Proven track record in government contracting, with familiarity across opportunity identification, proposal management, and project execution.
  • Strong Leadership: Ability to manage multiple functions effectively, acting as a one-person department.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting proposals and building relationships.
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical skills for financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail, ensuring compliance with complex government solicitation requirements.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly organized and capable of working independently on rigorous timelines.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field preferred but not required. Relevant experience in government contracting will be considered.
