Meka Carey: A Comedian on the Rise

Meka Carey dabbled in stand-up comedy since 2012 but only started taking it seriously in 2021. Her love for laughter and her ability to make anything funny caught the attention of a friend who encouraged her to perform in an amateur comedy show, sparking a newfound passion for stand-up. In August 2021, she decided to leave her 15-year finance career to focus on her multiple businesses and comedy career. Although she's new to the comedy scene, Meka is determined to make a name for herself. When she's not performing, Meka enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her adorable grandson.
